Cameron, NC - Upon arrival found 2 systems located in the home. Inspected upstairs unit and found it to be in good working condition. Tested primary drain line to ensure it is operating properly. System is 13 years old and outside of any manufacturer warranty. Recommend cleaning evaporator coil in place and pulling blower motor and wheel to clean properly. Recommend replacing air quality filter at return plenum. No SS2 safety switch installed on secondary drain outlet. System is draining properly at time, but if drain line becomes obstructed condensate will overflow into secondary pan before shutting off. Also recommend replacing Armaflex insulation on copper piping at outdoor unit.
